Every Tuesday evening the ETH in Zurich opens its doors to the general public by offering especially selected tours. In joint effort with the Libraries, Collections and Archives an exciting, diversified program has been created for 2012.
The evening tours are scheduled between 18:15 and 19:15 each Tuesday. Attending these tours is free of charge and open to all interested parties; a prior registration is not required.

The ETH Zentrum is located downtown Zurich in the historical university quarters. As part of your visit of the Semper building, located on a hill with a beautiful view on the city, you will learn more about the history of ETH and obtain insights in current activities. A side trip will lead you to a neighboring building where you will gain an impression of the various tasks ETH pursues.

During your visit of extensive ETH Hönggerberg you learn more about the history of ETH and obtain insights in current activities. We will show you selected buildings and count the milestones in the development of the campus Hönggerberg. The guided tours take place mainly outdoors, so that the symbiosis between architecture and nature can be truly experienced. Your guides will also point out the diverse student projects, sculptures, and exhibits on the Campus and tell their story.

Our guides provide you unique insights in ETH Zurich during the tour of about 90 minutes. The program consists of a small introductory presentation (ca. 20 min) and a walk over the site (ca. 70 min). Our tours are walking tours: Be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. You’ll be outside for a portion of the tour.
We aim to make your excursion into the world of ETH as authentic as possible. If you are interested in a particular subject, building, or project please inform us. We will try to tailor an individual program for you.

Our tours are conducted by ETH students. They not only know the facts and figures about their university, but can also tell you about the daily life at ETH. Being a campus guide is a popular side job, so we kindly ask you to refrain from presenting large gifts of money.
The Graphic Collection of ETH Zurich provides every Monday from 12.30 to 13.00 guided tours through current exhibitions. The entrance is free. Further tours on demand.
